How WPSHELP handles payroll data in this frontend-only release.
No backend for payroll data
WPSHELP has no database, no payroll API and no user accounts. Salary files, payslips and uploaded files are processed in your browser's memory only.
Nothing is transmitted
Employee names, identifiers, IBANs and salaries are never sent to a server, analytics service or third party. Generated files are created on your device as downloads.
No persistent storage
Payroll data is not written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies or IndexedDB. Data is lost when you refresh, close the tab or press “Clear all data”.
Masked by default
Qatar IDs, Emirates IDs, Iqama numbers, Civil IDs, CPR numbers and IBANs are masked on screen and in error reports unless you choose to reveal them.
No personal data in URLs
Employee information is never placed in page addresses or query strings.
Hosting logs
The hosting provider may log standard technical request data (IP address, page requested, browser) for security and operations. These logs never contain payroll data because payroll data is never sent.
Your responsibility
Downloaded files are stored wherever you save them. Avoid public or shared devices, and delete files you no longer need.
